Frequent updates? Ha!

That would be my fault.

Really though, there hasn't been much to report besides Chad being injured in a motorcycle wreck awhile back. I should've posted this a while ago-sorry Chad. He's still on the mend but doing much better.

As of now we're still drummer-less, though we may be trying someone out soon.

That is all for now.

R.I.P Jay Dee

I felt this needed it's own post. I was online late last night and when I hit up Pitchfork.com for my usual dose, my heart sank.

It's even sadder considering it's not even a week following the release of his long awaited "Donuts" record, which is going to be getting some serious burn from me in the next year.

Go to okayplayer.com and check what they have to say about the man. There's a great mix linked up there. The interview portion is about as bittersweet of a listen as there is. Hell, the whole mix is.

One of the greats is gone.

....and we're back.

Hey all. Brian from the Blinding Light here. Just set this up to keep more of an updated news source for us.

It's been a hectic and slow year at the same time. Most of the year was spent recording for the Junebug double cd. That's about it. Not much practice, even less shows. An incredibly boring year.

We ended up getting a new drummer within the last month. His name is John Thies, but just call him Cuz-everyone else does. Things are changing. Elements of the sound are still there, just stripped down, and hopefully a bit more refined. The new material is still in the early stages but it's sounding great so far.

The record that was to be Junebug is up in the air right now. Older material will be shelved temporarily for now. It's a new thing.

We will debut TBL ver.2 soon. Keep checking back for frequent updates.
